Armstrong G1N80 Gas Furnace
This manual will show you how to take care of your furnace so that it can last for years.
- You should always make sure the filter is clean. It’s important because if it isn’t, the furnace won’t be able to control airflow, and efficiency will be low. Cleaning its filter regularly is an easy task that even a child can do.
- The igniter should be working when you turn the furnace on. If not, it probably needs to be replaced with a new one or cleaned and adjusted at the company service center nearest you as soon as possible before any additional damage is done to the unit.
- Finally, if you notice any black streaks on either side of your flame sensors, those need to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner head attachment and water then dried with a rag immediately – otherwise, they’ll short circuit and cause serious electrical hazards in your home!
