bosch boiler error 7000
The six-digit code “00700” or “700000” often appears on digital-resident thermostats (called TS16C65 and TS72ME) used in Bosch condensing boilers. If the numbers do not display
properly, perform a reboot sequence to bring up the numbers as follows:
1. STEP down the boiler control box about 75% of the way for 11 seconds 2. RELEASE power to the controller for 6 seconds
3. VERIFY that all letters are visible in ALL CAPS and not flickering on the display
4. RESTART furnace & boiler
Mistakes in coding and software can cause costly repairs to plant owners and manufacturers alike. Detecting these errors before considering an application is no small feat. The issue is two-fold in that both safety regulations, as well as production throughput, should be considered simultaneously.
Applicable programming codes should be used with knowledge of the end product and the subsequent changes that are likely to occur. Codes should also be certified by an ISO-approved member company, with at least two auditors, that evaluates their security margin system.
Error Codes Resulting from Hardware Failure
E84–Pilot flame out a sensor or lead too hot or bad connection on the appliance side
E86–Oxygen deficiency detected
E137–Circuit Open upstream of the electric heater- no common wire
The causes of error 7000 can range from dust buildup over the years to a more serious issue with your boiler.
In order to ensure that you get the turbine back up and running in a timely manner, one should attempt to visually inspect the valve alignment before resetting.
