Goodman furnace light codes
Goodman furnaces are usually equipped with a light code system. This helps the user to quickly diagnose the reason for any problem that they might be experiencing.
A model 2C41-2HG is equipped with 4 lights; the number of lights on is consistent with the error code. The codes below correspond to each different combination of lights and what they indicate:
1) All four lights on – The machine needs to be shut down because there is no gas getting through.
2) Two lights on – Air pressure switch has failed or a shorted wire in air switch circuit, open air switch circuit breaker and check wires for continuity.
3) One light on – Low refrigerant charge, close gas valve, wait five minutes, open valve and wait five minutes.
4) No Lights On – Low voltage at furnace board, close gas valve and check furnace board voltage

The Goodman furnace light codes can be a difficult task to decipher. Here is a list of all the different numbers and what they mean.
* 9: The power switch is in the off position
* 10: Start button was pressed but no heat was generated by the system
* 11: Furnace is not receiving voltage from the transformer
* 12: Air filter is dirty or missing, intake duct blocked, or combustion blower may be clogged with debris

There are a few different reasons why this light may be flashing.
The Goodman furnace light code, or the following blinking pattern is a sign that the furnace is not running properly. There are a few different reasons why this light may be flashing. The first could be a power issue, such as if it’s not plugged in or if the breaker has been flipped off. The second could be that it’s not heating and is going into standby mode to conserve energy when it detects no heat and needs to cool down before turning on again. The third and most likely reason for these flashing lights is because there are issues with the system’s firmware, which can often be fixed by shutting off power to the unit and then turning it back on once more.
