Lennox furnace error code 250
Lennox, a company that manufactures and sells heating, cooling, and HVAC systems, has an error code 250 on its residential gas furnaces.
If you have a Lennox furnace with an error code 250, you may need to call a Lennox-certified technician to address the issue. A qualified technician will be able to diagnose the problem and fix it should it be a minor issue or replace the control board if needed.
Lennox is one of the leading brands of high-efficiency gas furnaces. One of its most popular products, the Lennox G21 furnace, is a component-based, variable speed heating and cooling system that is both cost and energy efficient. As a maintenance-free heat pump with a variable speed combustion blower, it provides high levels of comfort while using up to 30% less energy than other systems.
A customer can enter an error code 250 problem into the search engine to find out what issue they might have with their furnace. Customers can troubleshoot themselves by checking for any clogs or blockages in their filters or vents that might be causing their symptoms.
If Lennox has changed the default setting for your furnace, it would be incorrect for your furnace to be communicating “ERROR 250 – SELF TEST FAILED.” Normally, this type of communication is associated with a sensor not working or being in a bad location. If you have questions about your Lennox system, please contact Customer Service at 604 704 0300.
