Luxaire furnace error codes
When you have a luxaire furnace, you expect to have reliable performance. As one of the most trusted names in heating and air conditioning, they make sure that their products function properly. They take pride in their reliability and reliability is what they offer.
Older first-generation models may experience the following errors when measured by Luxaire:
1) F3 – “Failed to match loop with fixed table.” This error code is commonly associated with an entirely dead sensor unit that has failed a self-diagnosis test (i.e. a probe or thermocouple).
2) F4 – “Tie breaker failed to detect loop.” The tie-breaker detects any loops or cords that are not grounded before it starts its cycle. In many cases, this will be caused by a broken wire
A luxaire furnace error code is a set of four digits that represents the cause for an error. This code is unique to every furnace model, and it can be found in the user’s manual.
There are two types of codes, either 0 or 1. The first digit indicates whether there is a problem with the heating system or cooling system. The second digit indicates whether there is an issue with the burners or blowers. The third and fourth digits indicate the malfunction in each of these aspects.
The luxaire furnace maintains an in-house support network for error codes that includes both customer reps and engineers who can troubleshoot issues remotely.
