Viessmann boiler error code
When an error code is shown, it is important to know the various possible reasons for the error to determine the most appropriate solution.
HS code 3214: Boilers, water heaters and similar appliances
Error code 001: Boiler might not be installed correctly. Check whether the boiler is positioned correctly and if the pipes are in contact with the boiler.
Error code 002: Low water level. Check whether the water supply is switched on and that there is sufficient water in the system. If necessary, fill up with fresh water or hot mix to increase the level to 10% and 80%.
Error code 003: High-temperature differential (particularly outside). Check whether it’s cold outside, for example, because of a seasonal change or because you had to open doors/windows for ventilation during operation, which leads to colder air entering your property. If so, adjust your settings accordingly.
When a boiler is turned on, the boiler will run through a series of self-diagnostic tests and then display one or more error codes. The error codes can be displayed both when the boiler is first turned on and after running for some time.
