Bosch furnace error p01

The Bosch P01 Error will display when there is a problem with the gas valve assembly. It may be that the gas valve has failed or that the solenoid has failed. If this is not resolved, this could lead to a safety issue and should be attended to as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing a constant clicking sound, the p01 error is a likely culprit.

If the error persists, you may need to replace the flame sensor. If not, check the temperature cycling switch to see if it is causing any issues.

The error code P01 may be present because the furnace doesn’t know what vent to use.

The P01 error code may be due to a problem with the vent selection. The problem could be caused by a dirty or clogged sensor, a malfunctioning grate, or an improperly sized venting system.

Possible solutions are as follows:

1) Clean or replace the sensor.

2) Clean the grate and remove any debris that may have accumulated there.

3) Check all your vents and make sure they are properly connected and sized for your unit.
